For the third week in a row, Fordham Track and Field returned to Virginia for some weekend action.
After kicking off the outdoor season in Richmond, Virginia last weekend, Fordham Track and Field took the short ride to Williamsburg for the Colonial Relays.
Fordham Track and Field kicked off their spring season at the Fred Hardy Invitational, hosted by the University of Richmond.
The big weekend finally arrived for Fordham Track and Field.
The men were led by three gold medal performances, catapulting them to a sixth place finish. The women’s team struggled to get out of the blocks, finishing in last at 13th.
“It was a busy weekend for the Fordham Rams. They competed in two meets in two different boroughs of New York City. The relay teams took home three top five finishes at the Millrose Games in Manhattan on Saturday, while their teammates took part in Staten Island’s Fast Track Invitational the day before.”
With the winter season beginning to wind down, it’s time to look ahead to the transition from indoor to outdoor track and field.
